This unique opportunity provides service Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays with usual hours from 07:30- 15:00 (7.5 hours per day). Services provided include Anesthesia services to support surgical procedures, Anesthesia pre-assessment and consultation, Anesthesia care during surgical procedures and post-procedure anesthetic care.
Eligible candidates will hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons certification in Anesthesia, be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians of Surgeons of BC (CPSBC). Successful candidates will be required to obtain privileges with both Island Health and VRSC through the CPSBC.
