I am visiting a patient in your hospital. Where should I park?

We have visitor parking available at basement level 2 and 3. You can park your car there from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Can I bring home-made food for my friend who's in the hospital?

No, we strongly discourage food items for the patients while they are being treated. The medication can react with the ingredients and worsen the condition.

How to know about open job positions in the hospital?

Our website has a page dedicated to online job opportunities in the hospital. Please go to "employment opportunities" under "contact" to know about this.

Can I apply online for available job positions?

Yes you can. Please visit "How to Apply" under "Contact" and a guided procedure will be available for you.

I have an appointment scheduled at your facility. Where do I go?

Our new facility is located right next door to our old building at 76 Grenville Street. If you have questions about an upcoming appointment, please contact your healthcare team directly or our Patient Relations department at 555-122-3412 or write to us at patientrelations@drhc.ca

Is the building accessible by wheelchair?

Yes, our building is fully accessible. All clinics have wheelchair accessible washrooms. Please read our Parking & Patient Drop-off Webpage for more information.

Does DRHC have any smoking policy in place?

Since DRHC complies with Smoke-Free Ontario Act, no one is allowed to smoke inside the building.

I am coming for a second opinion to DRHC. Do I need to bring all prescriptions from previous doctors?

Yes, you need to provide your complete medical history before we begin our treatment. Failure to do so can result in ineffective medication and side-effects which might worsen the condition.

I am international student and I was referred to your hospital by my college. What should I bring?

You need to bring a copy of your insurance card along with your student id card.

I was admitted in your hospital for 21 days. Where can I check my total bill?

Details regarding your total hospital bill must have been emailed to your registered email address on the day of discharge.

Is there a gift shop in the hospital?

Yes, we have a gift shop on the 2nd floor near the cafeteria.

Where can I get discounts on the gift shop?

We do have online raffles and vouchers running throughout the year. Keep checking our website regularly for updates.

Is there WiFi available for patients and visitors? Yes?

Yes. WiFi is available throughout the building. When you enter the hospital, search using your smartphone or tablet for the wireless network DRHC_Guest and connect using the password ‘medicalfacility123’.

Is there any ATM nearby or inside hospital premises?

Yes, a bank machine/ATM is located on the ground level near the entry gate lobby.
